There are a wide variety of ways to learn, grow, and serve through the body of East Fork Baptist Church. We hope you find that place and continue to grow and serve!
Many times in the Bible we are called to prayer. Prayer is the most important part of our faith. We must be constant in prayer to God both in thanksgiving and petition.
We meet for prayer prior to Sunday School each Sunday. The church is also open for private prayer each Tuesday from 8am-noon.
All ages meet each week for Sunday School at 10am. With classes for kids and adults alike, there is always an opportunity to plug in and grow in discipleship.
East Fork Kids are bound to have a lot of fun while learning about God. In addition to Sunday School there are opportunities for Children's Choir and our Wednesday Evening Kids program. Wednesday evenings are like VBS each week. Kids meet for Bible Study, Hands on, and Worship.
Our Youth meet each Sunday during Sunday School and each Sunday evening for their very own worship service.
In addition to our adult Sunday School classes, both the Young Adults and Senior Adults meet often for Bible Studies and for times of fellowship. Whether it is a games night, covered dish meal, or dinner out, they continue in fellowship outside the church.
The Bible tells us to "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord" and that's what we do! The Adult Choir meets for practice each Wednesday at 7pm and sings each week during our morning worship service on Sunday. They sing a variety of songs from traditional hymns, to Southern Gospel, to Contemporary.
An integral part of the ministry of the local church is being active in our faith, working to help those around us and to share our faith. We actively give to the Cooperative Program of the SBC and support missions through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering and Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Our WMU and Baptist Men's groups also work to care for those in our community who are in need.
