East Fork Baptist Church
To God be the Glory

At East Fork, adults are always working for the Lord.  Whether it is through Training Union, the Brotherhood, WMU, or others, there is always something going on for adults at East Fork.  Check out each group below.

The Adult Training Union class at East fork is led by Jim Fore.  They are currently studying the book of Revelation from beginning to end.  From the Tribulation to the Second Coming of Christ they are looking at every aspect of this exciting closing book to the Bible.  Join them in the fellowship hall on Sunday evenings at 6PM.

The Baptist Men's Brotherhood at East Fork is buzzing with activity.  They meet once a quarter to fellowship and eat, but they also work to help those in need.  The Brotherhood is led by Gary Griffith.

The WMU at East Fork is open to all women.  The WMU is led by Pat Sharp and Debbi Hall.  They meet once a month and are always busy with some project.  Please click here to visit our WMU page.

We are M A D at East Fork!!!

Proverbs 22:6 says "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

Many of the women at East Fork are concerned about their children and grandchildren, also about friends, relatives, and even acquaintances.  Ladies, it is time to band together to pray for those we love and those who are slipping through the cracks.  There is no limit to what we can achieve with our faith and God's help.  It is amazing how love and prayers can transform the lives of our loved ones.  We pray this is just the start of many great things to come.  We, the Mothers and Grandmothers of East Fork are banding together, and with God's help, we will overcome the devil and take our children and grandchildren back.  Please meet with us at 5:45PM each Sunday afternoon, to pray silently or aloud, whichever you prefer, for our loved ones.  No one will be called on to pray, it is strictly volunteer, but your presence and support will mean so much to our efforts.  Names will be written on a piece of paper and placed in an envelope.  The envelopes will then be placed in a box, which will be set before us when we pray.  Only you and God will know who you are praying for.  Examples are: Children, Granchildren, Brothers, Sisters, Mothers, Fathers, Any Family Member, Our Church and its ministries, Our Service Men and Women, Our Nation and its leaders.  It is never too early or too late pray for a Christan mate for your child.  We are resting in the promise of faithfulness!  "Ask and it shall be given you; seek and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." -Matthew 7:7

Please join us this Sunday at 5:45PM.

The Joy Group at East Fork is for all people 50 and over.  They venture out all the time, for supper and more.  They have traveled to Cataloochee Valley to see the elk, ate supper at the Pisgah Inn, Harbor Inn, more.  They also meet several times during the summer and have picnics with singing, and just great fellowship.  Check the calendar often to see just what the Joy Group is doing next.
